Guesthouse/Front of House Manager - Swellendam
Main duties and requirements:
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Strong peoples’ skills and guest relations
• Staff Management
• Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
• Making reservations Manage bookings of guests
• Manage restaurant (take guest orders, make beverages, stock count, cash up etc.)
• Management, organizing and administration of events
• Communicate effectively
• Host guests during their stay
• Assist guests with check in and departure
• Own transport
Qualifications and expectations:
• Matric Certificate
• Tertiary qualification is preferred
• Management experience in hospitality industry
• Strong computer skills (MS Office)
• Hands-on experience with Hotel Management software (PMS)
• High level of guest experience
• Ability to think on your feet and come up with solutions
• A positive attitude
• Be able to deal with and handle conflict
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Team player
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
