Here you’ll find homely artisan baking with fresh and local produce. Leisure Home Kitchen

Leisure Home Kitchen is Aan de Eike Guesthouse’s inhouse restaurant. Their filled pancakes and homemade beef burgers are a fan favorite. Situated on the main tourist road, Leisure Home Kitchen is close to shops, restaurants and other local attractions. The perfect spot for all your breakfast and lunch needs and their leisure facilities include a travel desk, free Wi-Fi and spacious seating areas.

La Belle Alliance

Situated on the main road between the Drostdy Museum and the Dutch Reformed Church, on the banks of the Koornlands River, you’ll find this lovely spot. Enjoy your lunch on the garden terrace surrounded by a canopy of white stinkwood trees. The restaurant is child and dog friendly and the ideal spot to enjoy a relaxed breakfast or lunch.

Owned and run by Italian and South African chef couple Salvatore and Nina Branda, with Chris Mathew, Nina’s father, at front of house, La Sosta is a unique restaurant in Swellendam which combines a rich history with contemporary style, innovative food and classic service. Field & Fork

Field & Fork is located in Swellendam’s heritage area that forms part of the Drostdy Museum. The owner, Francois du Randt, has created a feel-at-home space while enjoying locally produced wine from Olivedale wines and most memorable dinner. You can make an online reservation here.

Clockpeaks Coffee Roastery

Clockpeaks Coffee Roastery was established in 2015 by Bert and Minnie Pienaar. They are artisan roasters that use the finest to grade coffee beans from around the world. You can taste the coffee at their roast lab premises, situated in the industrial area of Swellendam.

Country Deli at Sipiershuis

Fresh artisan bread, fresh flowers and freshly ground coffee, you can find it all at Country Deli. When going for a morning stroll around 09:00 in the morning you will be just in time for a warm croissant coming out of the oven. They are also dog friendly with a water station for your furry friend.
