Kids won’t remember the best day of television. So here are some fun activities to keep the youngsters busy while you’re in Swellendam.

Hermitage Horses

As the name suggests, Hermitage Horses are situated in the Hermitage Valley, just 2km from Swellendam. They have access to endless trails, enchanting forests and glorious nature.

They have trails for beginners to advance riders, including swimming with the horses.

The Berry Guest Farm

Something for everyone. Activities range from berry picking, an enchanted forest, tractor trips, a berry maze, canoeing & even ziplining. Enjoyed a fun filled day with the whole family.

Wildebraam Berry Estate

A fun activity to keep the youngsters busy. At the Wildebraam Berry Estate you can pick your very own berries. While you are there you can relax with your picnic basket or while the kids enjoy themselves you can do the liquor tasting.

Frozen berries available to purchase all year round.

Sulina’s Fairy Sanctuary

Sulina’s Fairy Sanctuary will make every child’s and even grown ups fairy tale dreams come to life. Founded in 1991, by Ian and Minky Sulin, now the garden is looked after by daughter Sera Hogben who puts all her energy into keeping all the fairy’s happy. It truly is a one of a kind experience and worth your while.
